Then I put the pistol back together and hand racked the slide some more and then put 50 or so wonderful rounds through it. Repeat.

I'm not one, so I don't know what hurts it, but Ballistol is an aerosol that is pretty gentle on most stuff, though I make no claims to what it may or may not due to the Duty Treatment.
