Produces higher velocity, recoil, and it is noticeably louder than trap loads. Works well with heavier loads like 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 oz for the field. HS-7 is a little slower than Longshot, burns about as cleanly, and makes for really good 2-3/4" heavy 12 gauge loads.
