WebYour mesh is moved off the world origin, and your symmetry is likely set to world, and not object. It's going to look on the opposite side of the world origin, and since your mesh is moved slightly over, this happens. I can't see your selection mask up in the topleft bar, you may have disabled poly component selection. Using the rmb marking menu to go to object mode then back to vert mode should fix things.
