I have read that it has 6L6s with a bigger GZ34 rectifier and larger output and power transformers. It uses a split load phase inverter and is cathode based power section and bigger 20w cathode resistors, (thanks doveman). Being cathode biased you also need a minimum of a 20W cathode resistor of the correct value. Webb30 juni 2012 · I also have a Richter Supra-Luxe Tweed (30w with two 6L6). I really, really, really like what that amp became after installing a VVR in it. I can dial it down from 30 watts to about 3 watts and it sounds the same. Granted it's a cathode biased amp.
